Getting Started
What is CyberFence?
CyberFence is a US-based VPN and cybersecurity platform that protects your devices on public Wi-Fi, blocks threats, removes ads, and keeps your data private. It runs on iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac, and Windows.
How do I get started?
Download CyberFence from the App Store, Google Play, or sign up at web.cyberfenceplatform.com. Create your account, choose your plan, and tap the green power button to connect.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — full access, no credit card required. You get the complete feature set including VPN, Web Shield, ad blocker, and Smart Scan.
What devices are supported?
CyberFence is available on iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, macOS, and Windows.
Privacy & Security
Does CyberFence keep logs?
No — and here is exactly what that means. We never collect your browsing history, the websites you visit, your real IP address while connected, DNS queries (the domains you look up), connection timestamps, or session duration. The only data we hold is your email address and subscription status. We have no technical ability to see what you do online, and if a court or government agency demands your activity data, our response is the same: that data does not exist. CyberFence is US-based, subject to US law and Fourth Amendment protections, with no secret surveillance obligations to foreign governments.
What is AES-256 encryption?
CyberFence uses AES-256 encryption — the same standard used by the US government and military. Your internet traffic becomes unreadable to anyone trying to intercept it.
Why US-based servers?
US-based servers mean your data stays under US legal protections, not foreign jurisdictions. You also get lower latency if you're in North America, and the peace of mind of knowing where your traffic goes.
What is the Web Shield?
Web Shield is CyberFence's active threat protection layer. It blocks malware, phishing sites, harmful content, and intrusive ads before they load on your device — in real time.
Billing & Plans
What does CyberFence cost?
Monthly plan: $7.99/month. Annual plan: $88.21/year (about $7.35/month). Business and teams plans are available with custom pricing.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly subscribers can cancel at any time with no penalty. Annual subscribers may cancel before their next renewal date.
What's the difference between monthly and annual?
The plans include identical features. Annual billing saves you about 8% compared to monthly. The annual plan also includes priority support.
Do you offer business or team pricing?
Yes. Teams plans support unlimited users and devices with compliance support for HIPAA, NIST, CMMC, and SEC. Contact info@cyberfenceplatform.com for pricing.
Breach Monitor
What is Breach Monitor?
Breach Monitor is CyberFence's dark web and data breach scanning service. Enter any email address and it checks it against 15 billion+ breach records from over 700 known data breaches — showing you exactly what was exposed (passwords, phone numbers, credit card data, and more) and when.
Where do I find Breach Monitor?
Breach Monitor lives in the CyberFence web app at web.cyberfenceplatform.com. Sign in with your CyberFence account, then click Breach Monitor in the left sidebar. It is not available in the mobile or desktop apps — the web app is where you access it.
Do I need a VPN plan to use Breach Monitor?
No — Breach Monitor is a standalone service. You can subscribe to Breach Monitor on its own for $5.99/month without buying a VPN plan. You can also add it to any VPN plan for combined protection.
How does Breach Monitor work?
Enter an email address and Breach Monitor scans it against a database of 15B+ leaked records. Results show each breach by name, the date it occurred, severity level, and what categories of data were exposed. You can mark individual breaches as resolved to track your remediation progress, and export a full PDF report.
How often should I check for breaches?
We cache your last result so repeat checks are instant. You can re-scan at any time to check for new breaches. The interface shows you when your result was last refreshed and flags any newly discovered breaches since your last check.
Technical
How many devices can I use at once?
Your CyberFence subscription covers all your devices simultaneously — there is no device limit within your plan.
Does CyberFence slow down my internet?
Minimal impact. CyberFence is optimized for speed. You may notice a slight reduction in raw speed, but for everyday browsing, streaming, and email it is imperceptible.
What is Smart Scan?
Smart Scan checks your device for common security vulnerabilities: whether your Web Shield is active, if your device lock is enabled, if your OS is up to date, and if the device has been jailbroken.
Does CyberFence work abroad?
Yes. CyberFence works globally. When traveling, it routes your traffic through US-based servers so you can browse with US privacy protections and access your services from anywhere.
