VPN Zero-Logs Policy

Our zero-logs commitment applies to activity carried through the CyberFence VPN. We do not keep logs of your VPN browsing activity, DNS queries, connection timestamps, or assigned VPN IP addresses. This commitment is separate from the account, payment, support, and website information described below; it does not mean that our website uses no analytics or advertising technologies.

Information We Collect

We collect information to provide and support our services, improve our website and products, and measure and advertise CyberFence as described in this policy. This information may include:

• Account information: Email address and password (hashed) for authentication.
• Payment information: Processed securely through App Store, Google Play, or our payment provider. We do not store card numbers.
• Support and communications: Information you provide when you contact us, submit a form, or request assistance.
• Product diagnostics: App performance information and crash reports used to improve the product.
• Website and advertising information: Cookie and device identifiers, IP address, browser and device information, approximate location derived from IP address, referring pages, pages viewed on our website, interactions, and checkout or purchase events. These identifiers may be linked to a browser, device, or account and are not necessarily anonymous.

VPN Activity We Do Not Log

• Browsing history or websites visited through the VPN
• DNS queries made through the VPN
• VPN connection logs containing your originating or assigned IP address
• VPN connection timestamps or session duration
• VPN bandwidth usage per user

US-Based Infrastructure

CyberFence's VPN servers are located in the United States, and VPN traffic is routed through US-based infrastructure. This describes our VPN network, not the processing locations of every website, analytics, advertising, or payment provider. Those providers may process information in the United States and other countries, as described in their own privacy notices.

Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information for money or rent our customer lists. We disclose information to providers that support payment processing, hosting, authentication, customer support, and product operations. We also disclose limited information to analytics and advertising partners for the purposes explained below, subject to applicable law and your privacy choices.

Analytics & Advertisement

Our website uses cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies for analytics and advertising. These include Google Analytics and the Google Ads tag, the Meta Pixel for Facebook and Instagram, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, and Microsoft Clarity. Where configured, conversion information may also be sent through server-to-server connections or forwarded from an analytics provider to an advertising platform.

Why we use these tools

• Analytics and improvement: Understand visits, page interactions, navigation, and website performance. Website analytics may include interaction recordings and heatmaps.
• Advertising measurement: Understand which campaigns lead to visits, checkout activity, and completed purchases, and improve our advertising.
• Retargeting and audience creation: Show CyberFence advertisements to people who previously visited or interacted with us, build relevant audiences, and exclude existing customers from selected campaigns where appropriate.

Information shared for analytics and advertising

These tools may collect or receive online identifiers, IP address, browser and device details, referring URLs, pages visited on our website, interactions, and transaction information such as the product, order identifier, purchase value, and currency. Advertising partners may combine this information with information from their own services or other websites to measure advertising and personalize ads.

Where permitted by applicable law, platform rules, the notices under which information was collected, and your privacy choices, we may also use customer contact information, such as an email address you provided directly to us, for Google Customer Match, Meta Custom Audiences, or similar audience-matching and advertising-measurement services. This may help us reach customers, find relevant audiences, measure campaigns, or avoid showing certain ads to existing customers.

Customer identifiers may be hashed before matching. Hashing converts an identifier into a coded value; it does not make the information anonymous or remove applicable privacy obligations. We do not use VPN browsing logs, passwords, or payment-card numbers for advertising audience matching.

No sale for money; advertising disclosures

Although we do not sell personal information for money, some privacy laws define a “sale” more broadly or treat disclosures for cross-context behavioral advertising as “sharing” or “targeted advertising.” Our analytics and advertising disclosures may fall within those definitions. Our no-sale-for-money statement does not limit any applicable right to opt out of those activities.

Where consent is required, analytics, advertising, and customer-list matching are subject to that requirement. Publishing this policy does not itself provide consent, override an opt-out, or authorize a new use of information collected under an earlier notice or commitment.

Your choices

• Browser controls: You can manage or delete cookies through your browser. Blocking cookies may affect website features and does not necessarily remove information already used for customer-list matching.
• Advertising preferences: You can manage Google's personalized advertising through Google My Ad Center and review advertising preferences in your Meta and LinkedIn accounts. These controls may change the relevance of ads rather than stop all ads.
• CyberFence privacy requests: To request an opt-out of our customer-list matching, targeted advertising, or any sale or sharing as defined by applicable law, email support@cyberfenceplatform.com with the subject “Advertising Privacy Opt-Out.” You do not need to create an account to make this request.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent. Contact us using the address above to exercise applicable rights. Advertising choices do not change our VPN zero-logs commitment.
